Principal Accountant

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT | Greater Boston $120K–$145K (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) A rapidly growing, private equity‑backed international technology company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its expanding accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a public accounting foundation who wants to broaden their technical accounting experience within a dynamic, acquisitive organization. Duties And Responsibilities Own key aspects of the month‑end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting Manage accounting for multiple international entities Support technical accounting research and complex accounting projects Partner with Treasury, HR, and international business teams on cash management, payroll, and compliance Assist with audits, statutory reporting, and global accounting operations Partner with third‑party service providers to ensure all local reporting requirements are met including, but not limited to, Value‑Added Tax Identify and implement process improvements across the accounting function Required Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong public accounting foundation CPA highly preferred Experience within software, SaaS, or technology companies is highly desirable Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting, e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842 NetSuite experience preferred; exposure to Coupa, Concur, FloQast, or Salesforce is a plus Ability to leverage AI‑enabled tools to enhance productivity and automate financial processes a plus Detail‑oriented, collaborative professional with excellent analytical and communication skills This is an outstanding opportunity to join a market‑leading technology company experiencing continued growth through innovation and strategic acquisitions, while working alongside a collaborative, high‑performing finance organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting
