Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools to understand clients’ emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals and situational contexts, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical guidelines.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities that resonate with clients.

• Monitor, document, and report on client progress throughout the treatment process, adapting strategies as necessary to support sustained recovery.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and medical professionals, to coordinate holistic care plans for clients.

• Provide continuous support through follow-up communications, particularly for clients transitioning from hospital stays or crisis intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a varied client population, including individuals with anxiety, depression, addiction issues, and those experiencing significant life transitions. You will employ culturally competent practices to ensure that all individuals, regardless of background, receive the highest standard of care tailored to their specific challenges and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, with familiarity in the AVATAR platform preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a mental health counselor, particularly in telehealth settings.

• An understanding of concurrent physical health conditions and the complex interplay with mental health and addiction disorders.

• A demonstrable knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
