Job Summary:
Mammographer in New York This role involves performing routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The position requires demonstrating competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique, with a focus on ensuring high-quality radiographic images. The mammographer will be responsible for evaluating images for technical acceptability, ensuring timely transmission to PACS, and accurately recording patient information. The position is scheduled for day shifts and offers a dynamic, patient-focused environment within a reputable healthcare provider.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, from 08/31/2026, with shifts of 7.5 hours, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography, be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and maintain Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements; 1 year of experience is preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience demonstrating competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique; familiarity with the department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and IDX system preferred
• Additional Information: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a clinical setting, emphasizing accuracy in image labeling and patient tracking
