Logistics Clerk / Customs Entry Writer
Location: Irving, TX (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional weekends as needed)
Pay: Up to $20.00/hour DOE/ may have some flexibility based on experience
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Join a growing logistics and customs compliance company supporting U.S. importers with customs clearance and shipping documentation. Training is provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Review shipping documents and invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Enter import and shipment information into company systems.
- Communicate with customers via email and phone to obtain required documentation.
- Assist with preparing and processing customs entries.
- Verify data accuracy and generate reports.
- Provide customer support and shipment updates.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong data entry and email communication skills are required.
- 2+ years of data entry, administrative, or customer service experience.
- Logistics, freight forwarding, import/export, or customs experience a plus not mandatory .
- Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn customs and logistics processes. Training will be provided.
