Senior Engineer

Senior Engineer
Work location: Must be local to Chicago- Will work onsite at local NT office 2 days per week, initially (will consider candidates relocating)
Duration: 4 months initially, but the project will extend up to 24 months
Technical Qualifications:
- Technical liaison for Business for multiple applications
- Experience working in Java/Spring Boot/Pivotal Cloud (will consider other cloud)
- Experience working with Authentication/Authorization/SSO/MFA (not super big)
- Experience working in Web Based applications
- Experience creating architecture/workflow diagrams (not huge either)
- Experience creating design documents
- Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL Queries (Strong database experience)
- Working knowledge of Agile using Azure DevOps
- Experience working in an enterprise environment with multiple teams
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of programming languages, various business applications, state of the art technology and current trends in the computer industry.
- 100% hands-on development experience required
- Knowledge of various application designs and programming techniques is required to develop conceptual system design.
- Technically competent and focuses on complex applications and systems where expertise is required. An expert in a specific skill set but remains focused primarily on daily execution.
- Knowledge of project management methodology using Agile
- Effective communication, influencing, and organizational skills
- Must possess initiative to accomplish tasks and make decisions
- Must also have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A College or University degree in Computer Science and/or relevant work experience is required.
