Job TitleSummary DescriptionPosition Purpose:Make recommendations to management to adjust system performance parameters. Delegate problem resolution to other team members and conduct follow-up.Location:This position is a full-time on site, hybrid schedule (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during normal business hours. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located at 17 Technology Circle, Columbia, SC 29223Security Clearance:This position requires a security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship to obtain.Sponsorship:This position is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future.What You Will Do:Provide enhancement recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy. Analyze new/revised processes/change requests from the maintainer. Collaborate with various internal groups and external vendors to ensure all specifications are met and problems are resolved as they arise.Participate in the development of custom integration solutions. Review and research issues reported from external/internal customers. Evaluate interrelationships in projects to determine how changes/installations of one program will affect others.Participate in work sessions and walkthroughs for quality and production implementations, releases, data conversion projects and/or disaster recovery exercises. Attend implementation meetings to determine impact to system availability and assignment of team resources for these implementations.Work closely with team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. Act as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent. Answer questions and/or provide training for the Production Support team on current system.Perform installations, configuration, analysis, scheduling and tuning on complex projects. Ensure Production and Test environments are up and functioning properly. Perform corrective actions whenever possible to fix applications that end abnormally.To Qualify For This Position, You Will Need:Required Education:Bachelor's in a job related fieldOr an additional 4 years job related work experienceOr Associate's plus an additional 2 years job related work experienceRequired Work Experience:6 years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, and/or programming experience or other job related IT experience.Required Skills and Abilities:Comprehends data storage techniques, database philosophy, database management, and complex programming techniques.In-depth understanding of the requirements for maintaining production systems and the effect of program changes.Understands how to use structured techniques in new program development.Comprehensive understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team.Pays attention to detail.Required Software and Tools:In-depth knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages, and/or development/productivity tools and their usage in the company.We Prefer That You Have:Experience supporting enterprise applications across Windows, Linux, and hybrid infrastructure environments.Experience developing automated software deployment and configuration packages using endpoint management platforms such as BigFix or similar tools.Experience supporting audit, compliance, and risk management initiatives through data collection, reporting, and remediation activities.Experience supporting integration of tool data into enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Splunk, and Power BI.Knowledge of SQL and experience extracting, validating, and analyzing operational data for reporting and decision support purposes.Experience supporting application availability, incident management, root cause analysis, and production support within a 24x7 enterprise environment.Security+, Network+, Linux+, Splunk, Microsoft, or other infrastructure/security-related certifications preferred.Experience with ITIL practices and service management processes preferred.Prior experience supporting healthcare, regulated, or highly compliant environments preferred.Work Environment:Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.
