Operating Room Opportunities Our Operating Room is a fast‑paced environment that includes high‑acuity patients. Role Details Experience: 1 year OR RN experience, preferably 2 years; some experience in heart surgery; highly prefer an RN who scrubs. Shift: 3 12‑hour shifts, 7a – 7p. Patient population: Vascular Surgery, minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery. Patient ratios: 1 RN and 1 tech per case; high‑acuity cases may have 2 RNs and 1 tech. Number of beds: 4 operating rooms. Call requirements: one weeknight every week, one weekend every 6th weekend, and one holiday per year. Department specifics: >95% of RNs have a BSN, 60% are specialty certified. World‑renowned surgeons; use of RNs to scrub; opportunity for leadership advancement.
