Pre-Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Pre-Litigation Attorney in Brooklyn, NY. The role involves managing all aspects of personal injury cases up to the filing of a complaint, ensuring exceptional client care and effective case management. Duties Supervise and provide direction to a team of staff members. Evaluate the merits of personal injury cases. Provide guidance and counsel to clients. Conduct medical case reviews. Perform research and legal analysis. Negotiate and authorize settlements in the pre-litigation stage. Requirements A license in good standing to practice law in New York. At least two years of experience with client contact and/or negotiation experience. Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to handle a large and active caseload. Prioritization of client representation and customer service. Excellent investigator and problem-solver skills. Success providing direction and guidance to a team of staff. Formidable negotiation skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in New York. Skills Strong research and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Effective negotiation abilities. Leadership and team management. Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) plus 8 paid holidays a year.
