Indonesian Kitchen Production Lead

We are an Indonesian‑cuisine restaurant. As a Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the kitchen production, quality control, and team management aspects of our food product division. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in food production, and a commitment to maintaining high‑quality standards. You should also have experience in Indonesian traditional cuisine. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the kitchen production team, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Monitor food production processes, including ingredient preparation, cooking, packaging/labeling, to meet customer targets and quality control measures. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure proper maintenance. Collaborate with the chef team to implement and maintain quality assurance programs, adhering to industry standards. Train and develop the kitchen team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. Manage inventory levels, monitor stock rotations, and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supplies of ingredients and packaging materials. Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Collaborate with upper management on R&D to improve existing menu and develop new food offerings. Analyze production data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary actions. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to remain competitive in the market. Ability to carry heavy goods, roughly 20KG–40KG. Work on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and overtime as required. Work rotate shift and overtime. Requirements At least 5 years of working experience in a related field. Higher education or diploma in any field. Ability to speak Indonesian and English, liaising with customers and workers. Strong leadership skills and management competencies. Strategic and critical thinking, decision‑making and negotiation skills. Ability to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi‑task, and work independently. Excellent organizational and coordination skills, including communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse spectrum of people. Time management skills and a mature approach to work.
