Food & Beverage Manager

Position Overview As the Food & Beverage Manager at Goodwood Park Hotel – one of Singapore’s most established heritage hotels located on Scotts Road – you will report to the Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage and lead the restaurant and function‑room operations to ensure outstanding service and profitability. Responsibilities Develop sales strategies to meet the business objectives of the restaurants and function rooms. Drive restaurant and function‑room sales and profitability. Plan and execute marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes. Prepare end‑shift reports, including revenue, materials control requisitions and daily performance reports for outlets and events. Assist the head of F&B in preparing the yearly budget and CAPEX proposals. Plan staff schedules, menus and beverage lists for the restaurants. Build rapport with patrons and diners, update the database, and handle guest comments and complaints. Ensure staff grooming, conduct briefings and counsel staff as necessary. Manage restaurant reservations and special guest requests. Oversee administrative tasks for restaurant managers, assistant managers, executives and senior captains – requisition, equipment control, inventory and other duties. Conduct site inspections of restaurants and function rooms to meet guest requirements. Recruit staff for the operation of the restaurants and function rooms. Maintain high standards of food quality control, hygiene and safety in the restaurants and function rooms. Provide assistance in any area of the restaurants or function rooms when circumstances dictate. Train and mentor junior staff. Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by management from time to time. Qualifications Proven experience as an F&B Manager or similar leadership role within hospitality. Strong knowledge of F&B management – cost control, inventory management, wine and beverage pairings, menu engineering. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem‑solving abilities and composure under pressure. Proficient in F&B software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance with food safety standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. #J-18808-Ljbffr Goodwood Park Hotel
