We are a national securities litigation firm seeking to hire a Legal Intake & Financial Data Coordinator to join the firm’s established and growing securities litigation practice. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, work well individually and as part of a legal team, and be willing to go above and beyond to successfully meet the unique needs of our clients. Role Overview
This is a highly analytical and client-facing role that sits at the critical intersection of client intake, potential case analysis, and operational support. This position serves as the primary point of initial contact for investors reaching out to our firm seeking legal representation for investment losses. The ability to review investment account statements, investment documents and interact with aggrieved investors is paramount for this role. This position is ideal for someone who possesses high data literacy, a strong interest in financial markets, and the cognitive flexibility to evaluate unique, non-standard financial disputes. More importantly, this position is ideal for someone who likes to interact with and help people.
Qualifications (Required)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy including use of all Office 365 programs (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Intellectually curious and motivation to learn new things; Coachable
- Some understanding of investments and the financial markets
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Previous experience in investment management, securities, financial services or similar
- Spanish speaking a plus
Key Responsibilities
Client Intake & Lead Management
- Serve as initial, and often primary, contact for prospective clients, addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Support intake screening and qualification processes for incoming investor leads; initiate pre-engagement processes & analysis for qualified leads (training provided)
- Maintain organized intake records for attorney review and follow-up; Ensure timely response to all inbound inquiries
- Manage and monitor life cycle of lead intake process through tracking all leads in CRM platform
- Communicate effectively with qualified leads to gather relevant details and documentation for effective case evaluation
Data Management & Operational Support
- Track, categorize, and advance leads through our legal case management software with consistent data accuracy & integrity
- Update firm database and reports to support client generation and key metrics
- Analyze intake data to assist in identification of potential client trends/patterns as well as areas for process improvement
- Review and interpret financial data, including brokerage statements, trade confirmations, &/or tax forms
- Translate potential client stories/financial narratives into clear, concise case summaries for attorney review &/or follow-up
- Actively evaluate case viability in dynamic situations where strict qualification criteria do not yet exist, leveraging critical thinking to spot legal issues
- Communicate and collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to assess case viability and strength of potential claims
- Perform special projects as needed
