Senior Ariba Technical Product Owner (Remote - PST Hours)

Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization undergoing a large-scale SAP Ariba transformation, is seeking a Technical Product Owner / Product Manager with strong expertise in SAP Ariba. This opportunity is perfect for a technical Ariba expert who thrives on challenging SI designs, loves ensuring solutions follow best practices, and can seamlessly bridge business priorities with technical implementation!

What You'll Do

• Own the technical product vision for SAP Ariba—be the go-to expert who ensures solutions align with best practices and long-term organizational goals.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define and prioritize functional and technical requirements that deliver real value.
• Create and maintain technical design documents, integration documentation, field mappings, and test scripts that set the standard for quality.
• Lead the implementation of critical Ariba modules including Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, Contracts, Spend Control Tower, and Sourcing.
• Document integration flows and design artifacts—translate complex integration concepts (data sourcing, field mapping, integration protocols) into clear, actionable technical specs.
• Manage build work through Jira and participate in hands‑on build activities alongside offshore and nearshore development teams.
• Act as a technical guide for integration execution, ensuring seamless data flow and system connectivity.

What You Bring

• Strong hands‑on knowledge of SAP Ariba's technical capabilities with proven ability to make configuration changes within the platform.
• Deep experience across multiple Ariba modules—Sourcing, Contracts, Buying & Invoicing, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP/SQM), and Ariba Network.
• Solid understanding of integration concepts including data sourcing, field mapping, and integration protocols.
• Ability to create technical documentation and design artifacts that both technical and non‑technical audiences can understand.
• SAP Ariba certifications (expected/preferred)—show us you've invested in mastering the platform!
• Familiarity with SAP BTP / Integration Suite is a major plus!
• Confident communicator who speaks fluent technical SAP terminology and can translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience supporting large‑scale Ariba implementations, especially with Spend Control Tower, SLP, Contracts, and Sourcing modules.
• Critical thinker who questions assumptions, challenges designs, and ensures alignment with best practices rather than just accepting prior approaches!
