About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Current RN License in the state of Missouri Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - 2+ years Telemetry experience - Team player with a focus on positive patient outcomes - Superior communication skills Description: Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups. Includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments. Aims to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation. Complies with established guidelines of nursing practice, including the state's Nurse Practice Act. Adheres to code of conduct and service standards. Provides care for patients with medical and telemetry needs. Expects to work at least one major winter holiday. Orientation is required, with night shift orientation conducted on day shift. Available for on-call and weekend shifts as necessary. Expected patient ratios are approximately 4-6 patients per nurse. Utilizes standard nursing equipment on the telemetry unit. Ensures quality care in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
