Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Bring your expertise in physical therapy to a rewarding contract opportunity working with K-5 students for the upcoming school year. This position begins part-time and is anticipated to last the full academic year, providing vital support to elementary-aged children while collaborating with a dynamic educational team.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Prior experience in a school-based, pediatric, or related setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Problem-solving mindset with a caring approach toward young students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and design individualized treatment plans for K-5 students
- Deliver evidence-based PT interventions to promote students’ functional mobility, engagement, and independence within the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to implement therapy recommendations
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students as needed
