Agency Golin Ketchum Job Function Consulting Job Subfunction Business and Change Consulting What You’ll Do Ability to work in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment – supporting one of the company’s largest clients Act as a day-to-day client contact for a large B2B professional services company; continually fostering client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients Play a key role in planning and implementing account activities including media relations, desk-side briefings, program implementation, and overall counsel on integrated communications best practices Demonstrate ability to effectively develop a full range of written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media briefing books, media pitches, executive-facing reports, etc. Research and compile high-quality media lists, trending news updates, and other industry knowledge that is relevant for client’s program and objectives Lead account support such as meeting agendas, action items, work back plans, monthly activity reports, weekly newsletters, etc. Develop and monitor program plans; report status to client and agency account teams regularly Continually build understanding and knowledge of client's business and competitive environments; apply this information in preparing and presenting strategically focused programs and recommendations. Develop an understanding of research methods, coordinate internal and external resources Be flexible and facilitate teamwork within the account team; coordinate team resources and create opportunities for junior staff to take on more responsibility; fully utilize agency resources to create the "best teams" for your clients What You Have Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred Two to three years of experience in a public relations agency or a similar position; technology, B2B or professional services experience is a plus Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities Proven ability to take initiative and apply critical thinking to assignments Positive attitude that contributes to the team and agency culture Ability to work in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment Golin Ketchum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
