Account Manager Supply

Position Overview Trane, a renowned leader in heating and cooling homes in the most sustainable way possible, is hiring an Account Manager – Supply to join our team and drive business growth. The role centers on developing and maintaining customer relationships to maximize revenue through strategic account penetration, acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones. Location Eligible candidates must reside in Austin or surrounding areas with a feasible commute to/from New Braunfels, San Marcos, or San Antonio. Most assigned accounts are located in South Austin and east of the city. Responsibilities Generate budgeted sales, manage mix and pricing to achieve margin goals and grow market share in the assigned territory. Develop and execute an account‑specific business plan to identify long‑term, mutually supportive requirements that facilitate a strong, profitable partnership. Identify customers’ problems and/or needs and create a dynamic action plan designed to meet them. Ascertain market opportunities and collect market sales data. Attend sales meetings and report sales activity, new account development, services, promotion, etc. Travel daily within the territory with some overnight travel required. Qualifications 4+ years of demonstrated experience in business development (a degree or associate’s degree (AA) is preferred, but practical experience is accepted). Successful experience in business development and sales. CRM/Salesforce experience is preferred. Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major traffic violations (e.g., DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple minor infractions) in the past 3 years. Compensation Annual base salary range: $78,400.00 – $154,700.00 Compensation type: Salary Incentive eligible: Yes Sales commission eligible: No Benefits Benefits effective on Day One for you and your family, including health insurance and holistic wellness programs.
