Football Junior Varsity Assistant Coach

Job Description Position: Football Junior Varsity Assistant Coach Reports To: Director of Athletics Approved By: Brian K. Reagan, Ed.D Starting Date: Aug 24, 2026 Summary: A coach’s primary responsibility is to improve the performance of athletes by motivating, instructing and managing the sport’s team. Further details on the job will be provided during the interview. Essentials Duties and Responsibilities: Complete knowledge of the sport and ability to teach and motivate student‑athletes to be successful academically and athletically. Coaching experience at the high school level preferred. CPR/First Aid Certified. Successful completion of a Criminal Records Check (CORI) and fingerprints prior to start date. Pay: Coaches are paid a one‑time stipend following the completion of the sport’s season. The employee must frequently use hands and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. Physical abilities may include lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling, stooping/crouching, reaching/handling, talking/hearing conversations, and near/far visual acuity. Ability to lift and/or push and pull 15 to 20 lbs for short periods and walk up and down stairs several times a day is required. The employee must communicate effectively with students, staff members, and the public in person and on the telephone.
