About the Role
The Company is in search of a dynamic Vice President, Business Development to play a pivotal role in driving new business growth within the medical communications sector. The successful candidate will be a hands-on seller with a strong focus on building and managing a robust sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing, and will be responsible for both acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts. This role demands a strategic and client-facing professional with a proven track record in business development, particularly within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare client space. The Vice President will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions, and will be expected to contribute to the development and execution of go-to-market and business development strategies. Applicants for the Vice President, Business Development position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a relevant field, with a strong understanding of agency services and commercial engagement models. The role requires proficiency in CRM systems, excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of client solutions. Key competencies include business development, client engagement, pipeline management, and a high level of commercial acumen.
