CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced CNC Machinist to work afternoon or night shifts (1 day shift open), helping to produce precision gas engine components. This role involves operating and setting up CNC equipment in a clean, organized, and team-focused manufacturing environment. Full-time direct hire permanent role. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, shapers, and manual machines Machine, grind, and test parts to engineering and customer specifications Inspect parts to ensure compliance with blueprints and manufacturing standards Visually check components for defects, burrs, or surface damage Maintain accurate part identification, records, and documentation Communicate shift handover information clearly Perform routine machine and equipment maintenance Keep the work area clean and organized, following manufacturing standards Support other related duties as needed Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of machining experience with lathes, mills, or grinders Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specifications Understanding of GD&T fundamentals Experience with precision machining preferred Familiarity with aerospace materials is a plus Ability to work assigned shift: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM or 10:00 PM 6:30 AM Physical Requirements Lift to 50 lbs Push/pull up to 60 lbs Grip strength of 50 lbs Ability to reach above shoulder height Compensation & Perks Pay range: $25 $37.50 per hour 2nd & 3rd Shift premiums and Sign-On Bonus 1st shift has one opening Relocation assistance available Health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) Paid time off and holidays Educational assistance
