The opportunity

Our client is a VC-backed SaaS company entering a major new phase of growth.

Thousands of customers. A validated product. A strong pipeline. Now, the CEO is hiring a Founding Account Executive to build a scalable revenue engine and accelerate the company’s next chapter.

You will not inherit an outdated sales playbook.

You will help create the winning one.

Working directly with the CEO, you will own the full sales cycle, influence go-to-market strategy and lay the foundations for the future sales team.

The numbers

$120K to $160K base salary

$240K to $320K OTE with a 50/50 split

Uncapped commission with accelerators

Typical deal sizes of $20K to $150K ARR

Expected sales cycles of three to six months

Fully remote across the USA

Meaningful early-stage equity

What you will be doing ️

Own the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and close

Build relationships with senior and C-suite decision-makers

Generate qualified pipeline through strategic outbound activity

Partner with the CEO on positioning, pricing and deal strategy

Turn successful customer wins into a repeatable sales playbook

Help define the ICP, qualification process and forecasting standards

Feed customer insights directly into the product roadmap

Help hire and onboard future members of the sales team

What we are looking for

Two or more years of B2B SaaS sales experience

At least two years in a quota-carrying closing role

Experience closing SaaS deals worth $40K or more in ARR

Proven ability to build pipeline rather than relying on inbound leads

Experience selling to senior executives across multiple stakeholders

Confidence operating with autonomy in an early-stage environment

Seed or Series A experience is strongly preferred

A builder’s mentality and the discipline to document what works
