Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments via virtual interviews and consultations, as well as by reviewing students’ medical histories, to identify psychosocial factors impacting their recovery.

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions focused on emotional support, coping strategies, and adjustment issues related to rehabilitation.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to create and implement individualized treatment plans, integrating assessed psychosocial needs into holistic care approaches.

• Guide students and their families in navigating community resources relevant to their rehabilitation needs, including referrals to support services, vocational rehabilitation, and housing assistance.

• Participate in discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for students returning to school or other settings, and offering ongoing support within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students who may be facing a variety of challenges due to medical conditions, developmental disabilities, or mental health issues. By promoting social functioning, emotional regulation, and resilience, you will support students as they strive to return to their academic environment and engage effectively with their peers.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Current active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with students, families, and colleagues.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, essential for effective documentation and collaboration within a remote framework.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a school or rehabilitation setting is preferred, particularly in managing the psychosocial aspects of recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
