The services are delivered primarily through a school's structured environment, enabling you to engage with a diverse client base comprising individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain associated with their injuries. You will utilize our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document client interactions and track their progress, ensuring a consistent and organized approach to care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual therapy sessions for adults seeking support in an outpatient pain clinic, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Conduct weekly psychoeducational classes tailored for individuals, focusing on coping strategies and psychological resilience.

• Offer brief individual therapy for clients participating in the Functional Restoration Program (FRP), evaluating their clinical progress and adjusting treatment as necessary.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for your active caseload, ensuring alignment with each client’s goals.

• Deliver clinical care informed by the latest research and best practices in pain psychology, consistently adapting approaches to meet client needs.

• Make referrals to other therapeutic modalities or clinics as required, promoting a collaborative treatment environment.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions and therapies in our EMR system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will include individuals who have experienced workplace injuries, often presenting with psychological distress linked to physical pain, trauma, anxiety, and depression. This diverse patient population requires an integrative therapeutic approach that accommodates various psychological and physical conditions, promoting a comprehensive recovery strategy.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• California clinical license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), actively maintained.

• Minimum of two years of experience in delivering cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions.

• Demonstrated proficiency in assessing and treating patients with chronic pain conditions.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective client interaction and documentation.

• Ability to foster and maintain rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
