Hope Alliance is hiring a Prevention Coordinator to help lead meaningful change in our community. This full-time, benefits-eligible role is an opportunity to educate, empower, and engage youth and community partners in preventing family and sexual violence across Williamson County. POSITION SUMMARY Deliver Family and Sexual Violence Prevention Programming via activities and community change strategies to youth populations and adult influencers. The role includes implementing violence prevention curriculum/community engagement, providing administrative support, and acting as point of contact for Hope Alliance’s Prevention Education Program. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate and deliver Hope Alliance’s Family & Sexual Violence Prevention Program across Williamson County, including planning and implementing curriculum-based education. Facilitate trainings and presentations for community stakeholders, schools, and partner organizations to promote awareness and prevention. Collaborate with community partners and support local violence prevention initiatives to expand outreach and program impact. Establish and maintain strong connection with youth to promote engagement in prevention programming, while monitoring and following up on progress, participation, and individual needs to ensure consistent support and continuity of services. Maintain accurate program records, complete required monthly and quarterly reports, and support grant reporting efforts to ensure compliance and assist in securing ongoing program funding. Assist in design, development and maintenance of all prevention and community education pamphlets and social media as needed. Identify and initiate opportunities for outreach, program development, and community engagement. Provide backup coverage for all victim services as assigned. Attend community and state training as assigned. To perform this job successfully, the coordinator must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily and assist with other duties as assigned by the Chief Client Services Officer. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in the human services field. Relevant experience may be substituted. Experience in public speaking, facilitation and training is preferred. Must have valid Texas driver’s license with a safe driving record, and reliable transportation to various worksites. Knowledge of (or willingness to learn about) topics regarding sexual violence and trauma‑informed care curriculum techniques. Strong rapport‑building and written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with diverse youth populations, schools, and community partners. Strong organizational and follow‑up skills to track student progress and engagement. Ability to connect with and actively engage teens and young adults in meaningful ways. Ability to engage, redirect, and manage group dynamics in a positive and constructive manner. Ability to adapt communication style to different personalities, backgrounds, and learning styles. Ability to develop innovative, interactive, and youth‑centered learning experiences. Ability to take initiative in identifying opportunities for outreach, program development, and community engagement without requiring direct supervision. Must be able to successfully complete the agency‑provided State Certification Training, during evening and weekend hours, within 90 days of hire date, and successfully complete a written exam and skills assessment designed to evaluate the special knowledge and skills required for continued certification. Requires frequent data entry into computer keyboard. Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend reach outward and upward for extended periods of time, and lift/carry or push/pull up to 40 lbs.
