Vacancy Announcement Sheriff’s Deputy (DCJS Certified) Full-Time Starting salary: $57,150 - $61,440 (negotiable with experience) The Fredericksburg Sheriff’s Office is taking applications from Virginia DCJS certified law enforcement officers for full time deputy. The primary duty of the Sheriff’s Office is to secure the courthouse and serve civil process, as well as prisoner transports. As a secondary function, the Sheriff’s Office may carry out routine law enforcement duties. An online application must be completed before applicant is considered for testing.
