Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and develop individual therapy strategies to help them reach their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ research-supported interventions to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families through therapy methods to ensure continued progress outside of the clinical setting.
• Assess and Document Progress: Track clinical results and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients aligned with their objectives.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a requirement.
