About The RoleAs a Product Marketing Manager at Finch, you’ll join a small, high-impact team that works closely with Product, Sales, and Success. You’ll play a central role in shaping go-to-market strategy, translating product capabilities into compelling narratives, and driving cross-functional alignment for programs across the full customer lifecycle.You’ll be expected to develop deep product knowledge and customer empathy, communicate confidently—both in writing and in presentations—and thrive in a fast-paced environment.What You'll DoUnderstand the Finch product suite in-depth to help build content including demos, product feature spotlights, and other assets.Own the creation and execution of product launches for new features.Research, build, and adapt positioning and messaging for new industries and personas.Convert key messages into high fidelity externally-facing content, including thought leadership content, webinars, one pagers, pitch decks and more for various audiencesSupport Marketing campaigns with industry, persona, and product-focused content that can be leveraged to generate and nurture leads.Work with the Sales team to develop impactful enablement resources and arm the team to better position ourselves against competitors and the status quo.Partner with Customer to build onboarding resources, expansion campaigns, and co-marketing content that accelerates adoption.Occasionally attend tradeshows and other events to gather market insights and connect with customers directly.What You'll Bring 3+ years of product marketing experience.Experience marketing to a technical or developer audience.Experience owning product launches end-to-end; ensuring team members work collaboratively to fulfill goals and objectives.Comfortable coordinating the product release cycle, emphasizing key factors such as documentation and customer communications.Comfortable collaborating with sales to build one pagers, competitive battlecards, and other resources.Experience conducting customer interviews and analyzing sales calls to build empathy and deliver product insights.Genuine curiosity about payroll, benefits and the HR ecosystem—unafraid to dive into the nitty gritty technical details.Great at simplifying complex technical requirements into plain English.A willingness to roll up your sleeves, get scrappy, and get it done—we are a startup after all!Success Looks LikeCommunication — Convert complex ideas into clear, compelling stories through exceptional written, oral, and visual communication skillsPublic Speaking — Comfortable with presenting to large groups internally and externallyResearch — Ability to identify and effectively translate market trends and competitive analysis into meaningful insights for the teamProblem Solving — Tactically address problems and cut through ambiguityCross-Team Collaboration— Manage projects across stakeholders in Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, and ProductNice to HaveExperience marketing to enterprise customers, ideally in a technical, API, or integrations product space.Experience selling to product managers, developers, or technical audiencesFamiliarity with HR Technology platforms; specifically payroll, benefits, or retirementWhat We OfferCompetitive equity with a 10-year exercise windowFull medical, dental, and vision coverage (100% for employees, 85% for dependents)Unlimited PTO (with a 3-week minimum)401(k) planRegular team offsites and meetupsHybrid work: 3+ days/week in our SF Office$140,000 - $150,000 a yearFinch’s compensation package includes a competitive base salary benchmarked against real-time market data, as well as equity for all full-time roles. We want all full-time employees to be invested in Finch and to be able to take advantage of that investment, so our equity grants include a 10-year exercise window.We also offer exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans.
