Controller

We are partnering with a law firm in Boston, MA who is looking to add a Controller to their team. This role will oversee the accounting and finance function, manage staff, and serve as a key business partner to firm leadership while ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Oversee and manage all accounting and finance operations for the firm Lead the month-end and year-end close processes Maintain and oversee the General Ledger and financial reporting functions Prepare and review financial statements and management reports Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies Partner with firm leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience Law firm experience required Prior Controller or accounting leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of financial reporting and General Ledger management Experience overseeing billing, collections, and cash management functions Compensation $160K-$180K depending on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
