Skills TrainerGreater New Bedford Area - New Bedford, MA 02740OverviewSalary Range $22.87 - $22.87DescriptionPer Diem positions availableKey Responsibilities:Conducts one on one sessions with children ages 2-22 to implement program goalsUtilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniquesCompletes all data collection, daily logs and graphing requirementsAdheres to schedule for all sessionsMaintains confidentialityConducts positive, solution based therapyCommunicates child behavior issuesEnsures own safety and safety of child and contacts director when in crisis situationAttends team meetings as scheduledProduces reports as neededComplies with all policies and proceduresBrings problems to the attention of the program directorUtilizes ABA therapy techniquesMust be professional at all timesWorking Conditions:Physical activities include but not limited to: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, pulling, etc.Exerting in excess of 100 lbs. of force occasionally.Subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.The worker is subject to hazards such as moving parts, moving vehicles, etcQualificationsRequired Qualifications:All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license.Successful applicants must be able to successfully pass a CORI check, Drug Test, and a Driving Record Check.All applicants must be able to become certified on assigned trainings within 30 days of employment.Previous experience working with children on the autism spectrumABA/DDT experienceConfidentialityProfessional and pleasant demeanorThis is an open rolling position for applicants.Salary: $22.87 per hourBenefits: BCL offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, tuition, and 401k and life insurance options for all eligible employees.Employment decisions will be based on the principles of equal opportunity.
