Site Security Manager
AbbVie
AbbVie seeks a Site Security Manager for its Barceloneta, Puerto Rico manufacturing facility. This role manages the security program, oversees compliance with global standards, coordinates with internal teams and external agencies, and leads on-site security staff to protect employees, assets, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary security point of contact and implement AbbVie Global Security initiatives at the site
- Develop and maintain physical security program including access control, surveillance, and emergency procedures
- Oversee third-party security contractors, manage vendor relationships, and ensure SLA compliance
- Conduct security incident investigations, risk assessments, and audits to identify threats and mitigation strategies
- Lead on-site security staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in security-related field
- At least 10 years progressive corporate or law enforcement/military experience
- At least 5 years progressive leadership in corporate security or related field
- Advanced fluency in English and Spanish, verbal and written
- Strong management and team leadership capabilities
- Master's degree and ASIS CPP certification strongly preferred
- Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred
