Riviera Family Dental is looking for a dependable, positive, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. We are an established private dental practice in Lake Havasu City focused on providing excellent dentistry while creating a comfortable, welcoming experience for our patients.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and can help keep a busy clinical day running smoothly. The right person is proactive, organized, and willing to jump in wherever needed.

What you’ll do:

• Provide chairside assistance for general and restorative dental procedures
• Take high-quality diagnostic radiographs
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure the doctor has everything needed before procedures begin
• Turn over rooms efficiently and maintain excellent infection-control and sterilization standards
• Assist with digital impressions/scanning and other dental technology
• Accurately document clinical information and assist with patient charting
• Help manage lab cases and clinical supplies
• Educate patients and help them feel comfortable and informed about their treatment
• Anticipate the doctor’s needs and help the clinical schedule stay on time
• Communicate effectively with the front office, hygienists, doctors, and other assistants
• Support teammates throughout the day rather than focusing only on assigned patients or rooms

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has dental assisting experience; experienced assistants are strongly preferred
• Is confident taking diagnostic dental radiographs
• Is dependable and arrives ready to work
• Is organized and pays attention to details
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Is comfortable learning and using dental technology
• Handles a busy environment with a positive attitude
• Accepts feedback well and wants to continue improving
• Values teamwork and is willing to help without needing to be asked
• Treats patients and coworkers with kindness and professionalism

Experience with Open Dental, digital scanning, CBCT, and digital radiography is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM , Fridays 8:30 - 2:00 PM

Compensation: Competitive and based on experience.
