McKean County Department of Human Services This position supports key quality improvement and oversight efforts within the county. The work strengthens services through planning, review, and coordination. As a County Intellectual Disabilities Program Specialist 1, you will perform the following duties: Quality Plan Development: Create and manage quality management plans that align with statewide strategies Risk Oversight: Lead risk management activities through data collection and coordination of review processes Certified Investigation Work: Complete certified investigations and present findings to appropriate teams Peer Review Participation: Take part in quarterly peer reviews for certified investigations IM4Q Leadership: Guide the Independent Monitoring for Quality initiative, including survey and data organization System Reporting: Use required systems for early intervention reporting and tracking Fiscal Monitoring: Conduct financial monitoring and annual contract reviews Department Support: Assist with additional tasks that help maintain smooth department operations Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday. Occasional nights and weekends as needed as well as overtime. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. You must meet the PA residency requirement. You must be able to perform essential job functions. LEGAL REQUIREMENTS A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
