Sr. Oncology Sales Representative - Chicago North

Job Details Field‑based sales position covering the Chicago North territory. Candidate must reside within the territory. Overnight travel may be required about 25% of the time. Travel requirements may vary based on location. Responsibilities Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of product value, positioning, and competitor comparison in informed discussions with HCP customers. Act as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders. Understand cancer staging, treatment options, and dosing schedules across tumor types, and the impact of clinical trials on product promotion and practice behavior. Analyze and identify trends in complex buying environments, including drug distribution channels, GPOs, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies. Develop short‑ and long‑term account plans with stakeholders and the Customer Team Leader, and share learnings across accounts. Influence beyond the local geography, ask strategic questions, and use insights to position the company’s oncology brands. Collaborate with the extended customer team—Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate, Medicare Account Executive, and others—to ensure a consistent customer experience across divisions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 6‑8 years of sales experience OR high‑school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience. Prior professional sales, healthcare/scientific, marketing, or military experience. 2+ years of oncology field sales experience. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a motor vehicle. Willingness to travel as required. Preferred Experience and Skills Documented history of strong performance in a sales/marketing or oncology clinical role. Clinical oncology experience across multiple solid tumors (breast, ovarian, cervical). Experience levels: 0‑2 years of field sales → S2 Oncology Sales Representative; 2+ years → S3 Oncology Sales Specialist. Required Skills Account management, healthcare sales, oncology, oncology nursing, sales account management. Salary Salary range: $156,900.00 – $247,000.00. Eligibility for annual bonus and long‑term incentive where applicable.
