Litigation Attorney

Established Civil Litigation Defense Firm Seeking Litigation Defense Attorney - Philadelphia, PA / Pittsburgh, PA / New York, NY / South Jersey, NJ

A well-established civil litigation defense firm with decades of experience and offices across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York is seeking a Litigation Defense Attorney to join their team across multiple office locations. This Attorney would have experience in one or more of the following practice areas: general liability defense, insurance coverage, and/or workers' compensation. This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied and complex defense caseload within a collaborative and highly regarded multi-practice defense firm.

Offer :

$100,000 - $160,000 base salary, contingent on experience, practice focus, and location

Qualifications :

Litigation experience in one or more of the following: general liability defense, insurance coverage and bad faith, or workers' compensation defense
Strong litigation skills including depositions, discovery, and motion practice
Active Bar license in the applicable state(s) and in good standing
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

Responsibilities :

Managing a defense caseload across general liability, coverage, and/or workers' compensation matters
Conducting depositions, legal research, and drafting motions and pleadings
Representing clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
Advising clients on litigation strategy, coverage positions, and risk exposure
Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys across practice groups
