Senior Research Associate

We are seeking a Senior Research Associate to support transcriptomics research through the execution of next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows and related sample processing activities. This role will support a variety of sequencing-based applications while ensuring high-quality data generation, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities Support transcriptomics studies using bulk RNA sequencing, small RNA sequencing, long-read sequencing, single-cell, spatial, and related genomics platforms. Perform RNA isolation, library preparation, quality control, sequencing, and associated sample processing activities. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot NGS instrumentation and laboratory equipment. Manage sample tracking, logistics, and data collection workflows. Prepare protocols, technical documentation, and data reports. Support development, optimization, and implementation of new technologies and laboratory workflows. Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Train and assist laboratory personnel as needed. Adapt to evolving project priorities, workflows, and platform needs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biology, or a related scientific discipline. Hands-on experience with NGS workflows, including RNA isolation, library preparation, sequencing, and quality control. Experience supporting transcriptomics or genomics research programs. Strong laboratory troubleshooting, organization, and documentation skills. Experience maintaining accurate sample records and managing laboratory data. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced research environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with bulk RNA-seq, small RNA-seq, long-read sequencing, single-cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, or related technologies. Experience operating and maintaining NGS instrumentation. Experience developing or optimizing laboratory workflows and protocols. Experience training or mentoring laboratory staff. Experience working in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, academic, or other research environments.
