Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, leading to well-informed clinical diagnoses and personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the specific goals and needs of each client. Provide crisis intervention services for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client records, including progress notes, treatment updates, and assessment findings, adhering to legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to deliver integrated care and optimize client outcomes. Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment pathways, and available community resources, while advocating for clients' rights effectively. Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training and workshops to stay informed on best practices in mental health therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus You will be working with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients may face issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and other behavioral health concerns. Qualifications A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in the State of Illinois. A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field. Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills developed through prior experience. Minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a keenness for collaboration, and the ability to empathize with clients. A self-motivated individual with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a team. A commitment to uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions and documentation. Preferred Experience Experience in outpatient mental health settings is preferred, although we are also open to candidates at entry-level positions who meet the necessary qualifications. Familiarity with electronic health record systems to streamline documentation and improve client management. Exposure to diverse therapeutic techniques including CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care methodologies. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
