Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will:

• Conduct therapeutic sessions with couples, engaging in joint therapy as well as individual sessions for each partner.
\n
• Assess and diagnose a range of issues affecting families, including but not limited to: alcohol abuse, physical and psychological abuse, grief and loss complications, and sibling conflicts.
\n
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing unique family dynamics, such as blended family challenges, separation and divorce adjustment, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and stay abreast of current research and trends within the field of marriage and family therapy.
\n
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with compliance standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse adult and child/adolescent populations, delivering specialized care to individuals experiencing a variety of emotional and psychological struggles. Your clinical focus will encompass family units dealing with multiple complex issues, helping them navigate through difficulties to strengthen their relationships and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active LMFT licensure in the state of Texas.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field, ensuring a solid foundation in the necessary theoretical underpinnings.
