SBS is well known for its strong personal and commercial lines capabilities, deep carrier relationships, and long-standing reputation for service excellence. This CSR will join a growing wholesale business unit, as SBS adds immediate depth to ISCs offerings, including a niche in high-value personal lines that complements ISCs exclusive homeowners programs./ppThis role is responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring accurate processing, and maintaining efficient communication while developing a strong understanding of carrier guidelines and internal procedures. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced Property Casualty wholesale environment./ppCandidates considered for this role should ideally be located in the Columbus, Ohio area and be comfortable working remotely with occasional short-distance travel as needed./ph3Position Responsibilities/h3ulliSupport new business and renewal underwriters, agents, customers, and internal staff across commercial and personal lines./liliRespond to agent inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels, offering guidance and information on commercial lines products./liliDeliver high-quality customer service in the daily servicing of new and renewal business./liliProvide clerical support, quoting assistance, and other administrative activities as needed./liliProcess incoming and outgoing correspondence accurately and efficiently./liliMaintain working knowledge of carrier coverage forms, automation systems, eligibility requirements, and program details./liliAdhere to customer service standards outlined in procedure manuals, process documents, and leadership directives./liliDocument all relevant activity within the Agency Management System./liliPerform additional duties as assigned./li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3ulliMinimum 1 year of insurance experience./liliAbility to obtain and maintain a valid Property Casualty Insurance License within 90 days of employment./liliHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience./liliAbility to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents./liliAbility to respond professionally to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, and business partners./liliStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to management and external groups./liliAbility to provide fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical business situations./liliProficiency with email, record-keeping systems, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and related office software./liliAbove-average knowledge of Microsoft Office is required./liliValid Drivers License/li/ulpThe starting hourly pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience.
