Job Description: Assistant Front of House Manager Location: Portsmouth, VA, 23704 Skills: Develop good customer relationships Address customer and employee concerns Provide direction to staff Insure a smooth running shift Monitor labor and make cuts Ability to count and handle money Job Summary: We are seeking an Assistant Front of House Manager to join our team in the Tidewater Marina. Fish & Slips is a local favorite in Portsmouth. We aim to provide excellent service matched by the quality of our food. The assistant manager must abide company policy and uphold the standard of service, while being a leader to the staff. Responsibilities: Assist in opening or closing of restaurant Address customer and employee concerns Uphold safety standards Provide direction & motivation to staff Assist the Front of House Manager with daily tasks Ensure that all staff members are following company policies and procedures Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends #J-18808-Ljbffr
