Senior Executive Rewards Consultant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career Consulting team at Mercer located in Dallas, TX. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. About Our Team Mercer’s Executive Rewards group helps companies design, assess, and execute performance measurement and rewards strategies that reinforce business objectives. We focus on senior executives and board members at Fortune 500 companies. We Help Our Clients Analyze company and industry financial performance and calibrate pay levels to performance results. Align rewards with value‑creating business strategies. Translate business strategies and shareholder expectations into performance measurement and goal‑setting systems (e.g., annual and long‑term incentive program design). Stay abreast of regulatory developments and monitor global market trends. Responsibilities As a Senior Executive Rewards Consultant, you will work closely with clients to support the design and implementation of executive compensation programs that align with their business strategy and governance requirements. Provide consulting services to senior management and Boards of Directors on executive compensation issues, including competitiveness of pay, performance measurement, and governance and regulatory implications. Develop executive compensation strategies, philosophies, and programs that address clients’ attraction and retention needs. Design short‑term and long‑term incentive programs that reinforce the clients’ strategic objectives. Manage client projects and presentations and provide formal and informal coaching, technical review, and development for Analysts and Associates on the project team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in human resources or management consulting, with demonstrated experience in executive compensation at a professional services firm. Proven track record advising public and private companies across industries on compensation strategy development, competitive pay analysis, and pay‑for‑performance alignment. Hands‑on experience designing incentive programs (annual and long‑term), including equity strategy. Experience supporting board and executive‑level compensation discussions and delivering client‑ready materials, analyses, and recommendations.
