Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact as a contract occupational therapist supporting elementary students in south Indianapolis, IN. This full-time opportunity (with part-time options considered) runs from July 29th through May 27th. You’ll work on a school-based team dedicated to helping students thrive and promoting their independence in the classroom. Average-sized caseloads and a supportive environment ensure you can truly focus on your students’ needs.
What You’ll Bring:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with OT experience in school, healthcare, or home health settings
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based OT practices
- Skilled in evaluations, developing treatment plans, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication with students, families, and educational teams
- Adaptability to work collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to elementary students following IEP goals
- Providing assessments and developing appropriate intervention plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Monitoring and documenting student progress
- Facilitating inclusive participation within classroom and school activities
