We are seeking a driven, sales-focused Insurance Sales Representative / Account Manager to join our high-performing insurance agency in Fishtown.

This is a sales-dominant position for someone who enjoys building relationships, uncovering customer needs, and confidently closing business. We're looking for a motivated professional who can turn conversations into opportunities, overcome objections, and ask for the sale—while always keeping the customer's best interests at the center of the conversation.

Insurance experience is preferred, but we're willing to develop the right person who brings strong sales ability, drive, coachability, and a desire to build a long-term career.

Licensing Requirements

Insurance licensing is required for this position.

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start date.

• Life & Health license must be obtained within an established timeframe after onboarding begins.
  
• Already licensed candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• We provide licensing guidance and support to qualified candidates who need to complete the process.

What You'll Do

• Generate new business through leads, referrals, outbound prospecting, and consistent follow-up.

• Conduct needs-based sales conversations to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

• Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other insurance products.

• Build and manage a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities.

• Conduct policy reviews and identify cross-sell and account-growth opportunities.

• Confidently handle objections and ask for the business.

• Follow up with prospects and customers to convert opportunities into written business.

• Build strong customer relationships that generate retention, referrals, and additional sales.

• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity.

• Consistently work toward individual and agency production goals.
