Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Telemetry/Med-Surg unit with patient ratios of 1:6, with potential for 1:5 assignments
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and respond appropriately to cardiac and clinical changes
• Perform and assist with unit-level procedures including wound vac management, CPM machines, external fixation care, and bracing
• Document accurately and efficiently using MediTech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, PCTs, and unit clerks across day and night shifts
• Adhere to unit dress code requirements, including navy scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry and/or Med-Surg nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Experience with Ortho/Trauma patient populations
• Familiarity with MediTech EMR
