Financial Services Specialist

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Services Specialist in Alexandria, VA. Key Tasks:

• Provide personalized financial advice and solutions to clients, including investment options, retirement planning, and wealth management
• Assist clients with banking transactions, account management, and resolving inquiries
• Conduct financial needs assessments to identify opportunities for cross-selling bank products and services
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations to provide accurate information to clients
• Process loan applications, credit card applications, and other financial products
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-up
• Assist with branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a secure and organized work environment
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance financial knowledge and skills
• Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and provide a positive customer experience
• 3+ years of credit union or banking experience where they were more relationship focused
• They should be exposed to understanding the banks' offerings so they could cross sell, working with members/building relationships, tracking KPIs, submitting loan applications and reading credit reports
• Candidate must be flexible location wise as they are working to open up a location in DC in addition to the ones they already have in MD and VA
