We offer:Full benefits401k matchProfit sharingInformal dress codeFlexible work scheduleSmall, family orientated company atmosphereDiscount on building materialsFun company eventsResponsibilities and duties:This position is responsible for a variety of manufacturing processes, including sawing operations, column and truss construction, material handling, bundling, forklift operation, loading and packing lumber, loading trucks, handling hardware, receiving materials, and various other operations.Assemble trusses and gables using hammer and tape measureOperate radial arm sawManually stack wood as it comes off the machineAssist with finger joiner-tape measure and stackProperly package and handle incoming/outgoing ordersMaterial pickingVerify quantities of items pulled and record in ERP systemAid in cycle counts as called upon to do soPackage materials in a manner that ensures their safe deliveryResponsible for the performing daily cycle counts of various types of inventoryTracking past due backorders verses incoming materialUnload material and handle material from truck with forklift as needed and requiredWork in various areas of the plant based on business needsMaintain clean work areasQualifications:Ability to accurately read a tape measureAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the dayFrequent standing/walking/stooping/turning while carrying materialsAbility to operate a forklift is a plusExperience in manufacturing and shipping is beneficialStrong organizational skillsEffective communication skillsAttention to detailBasic computer skillsMust be a team playerSalary range:$22.00 to $23.50 an hourThe specific compensation offered to a candidate varies by several factors including relevant work experience, education, certifications and internal pay equity.Benefits:We are committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off and holidays.
