Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd shift (2PM to 10:30 PM)

As a Shift Supervisor with Taylor Warehouse, your role is central to our business and to the operation of a safe, quality 169‑year‑old business. This position is located in West Chester, OH. Responsibilities Manage the performance of people and processes in the warehouse. Plan and assign work, ensuring shift production meets goals. Monitor production and report staffing needs to management. Consult with the Inventory/Quality Control Manager on training needs. Enforce good GDPs and ensure employees follow them. Coach, counsel, and direct warehouse employees. Handle administrative duties including time records, absentee and vacation schedules, disciplinary records, safety investigations, and quality assurance documentation. Enforce safety requirements. Recognize skilled employees and encourage excellent performance. Continuously improve workflow and processes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of supervisory experience preferred. Two or more years of warehouse experience preferred. Ability to accurately and safely operate a forklift truck and other warehouse equipment in a busy environment. Proficiency with key informational systems used within the warehouse. Strong communication skills and ability to coach employees. Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Common sense understanding to give and carry out necessary instructions for operations. Work Environment / Physical Demands This role requires work in a warehouse with loud noises and changing climate conditions (hot/cold). Candidates must bend, grasp, kneel, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
