Payroll Technician Substitute

Analyzes, prepares, and performs clerical and technical accounting and financial data entry and record keeping activities involving the preparation, processing and maintenance of the District's payroll for certified, classified, hourly, and special payrolls.

Requirements / Qualifications

*Must pass the El Monte City School District Proficiency and Payroll test. Position typically requires completion of high school curriculum with emphasis in bookkeeping and 4 years experience in the maintenance of financial or statistical records. Alternatively, the position can require two years of college in a business, accounting, or similar discipline requiring math and 2 years of experience. May require a valid driver's license.
