Service Manager

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Service Manager for a heavy equipment and machinery company in Superior, WI. In this role, you’ll serve as the primary technical resource for customers and field service teams while helping drive customer satisfaction, equipment performance, and service excellence. What You’ll Do as a Service Manager: Provide technical troubleshooting and support for customers and field service personnel Coordinate service schedules, repair activities, and customer communications Process warranty claims and monitor repair progress through completion Conduct technical, operational, and maintenance training for customers, dealers, and service technicians Collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, and product support teams to resolve issues and improve products Interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and service documentation to support repairs Maintain service records, training documents, and repair procedures while leading service performance discussions What You Need to Bring to the Service Manager Role: Associate degree in a technical field, industry certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years of experience with hydraulic systems, mobile equipment, heavy equipment, machinery attachments, or related industries Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics Strong customer service, communication, presentation, and training abilities Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in office, shop, and outdoor job site environments Valid ability to travel to customer locations, training events, and service sites as needed Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications #SMNCareers This company offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including health, dental, and vision insurance, along with life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage.
