QA Engineer

To ensure software and system integrity across online marketplace development projects, the full-time remote QA Engineer will advocate for quality, perform manual and automated testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and deliver optimal solutions. Key responsibilities: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure applications meet predefined acceptance criteria through manual testing and visual assessments Write and execute automation scripts for functional and regression tests while setting up test automation tools Evaluate, troubleshoot, and apply suitable testing mechanisms throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, adhering to Agile methodologies Required qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, particularly in a digital platform environment such as online marketplaces or SaaS Solid understanding of automated testing within the Software Development Life Cycle, particularly in Agile settings Strong background in manual testing techniques and experience with automation tools like Cypress, Jest, and Nightwatch Proven ability to write automated functional and integration tests in JavaScript and experience testing REST APIs Familiarity with test management tools such as Xray or Zephyr is recommended
