Accounts Payable Clerk – 77067

Location: Greenspoint Area

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 an hour, DOE

Objective

The accounts payable clerk is responsible for all daily functions related to processing A/P, invoicing vendors, and process payments from vendors, included but are not limited to:

Key duties & responsibilities

• Review Vendor Statements, ensuring all invoices are in both Descartes and Bill.com and the amounts are correct.
• Review invoices sent to Bill.com email and create bill. Ensure the invoice is in Descartes.
• Create Vendors in Bill.com. Add billing information.
• Create Vendors in Descartes as needed.
• Discuss with Accounting Manager payments needed.
• Mark invoices paid in Descartes after processed in Bill.com.
• Process monthly online payments.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in accounting roles

High School Diploma

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good organizational, problem solving and time management skills

Efficient in Microsoft Office applications

Good computer and tech skills

Self-motivated

Detail oriented
