Immigration Associate Writing-Intensive

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Immigration Associate with 1+ years of experience to join its Detroit, MI office. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in immigration law and experience in writing-intensive immigration cases. This full-time position offers the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. Duties Lead writing-intensive matters, including RFE responses, NIWs, O-1/EB-1 petitions, and J-1 waiver applications. Prepare and submit filings to USCIS and other government agencies. Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and clients. Complete and review forms, applications, and supporting documentation. Gather facts and evidence to support client applications and other immigration matters. Requirements 1+ years of experience in immigration law. Active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction). Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills. High-level attention to detail and strong academic credentials. Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Enjoyment and proficiency in creative writing. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active bar membership in good standing. Skills Extensive experience with writing-intensive immigration cases. Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills.
